Eastbourne International Tennis
The Nature Valley International 19 June – 27 June 2020
The Nature Valley International boasts a fantastic line-up of world-class tennis as a combined men’s and women’s event. It is a WTA Premier level and ATP 250 level tournament based at Devonshire Park.

Towner Art Gallery
The Towner Art Gallery is an award-winning contemporary art gallery and museum for South East England, located opposite the New Wilmington Hotel.
The state of the art gallery boasts 1,250m2 display space – the largest in South East England. It includes fully accessible collection display, storage and research facilities.
They present major exhibitions of UK and international contemporary art throughout the year, and as a museum, they also have a renowned collection of art from across the ages.
Eastbourne Walking Fest
Eastbourne and Lewes Walking Festival 20-29 September 2020
The event acts as a springboard to a year-round ongoing promotion of walking activities across the areas. This is an event for all ages that will encourage people to take a good walk on a regular basis, be it to improve their health and wellbeing or simply to learn new things and make friends.
The festival aims to promote engagement in appreciation and conservation of the natural world from plant life, animal life and marine. There will be events taking place during the Festival based around this theme more so than the act of walking.
Magnificent Motors
Magnificent Motors – 2 & 3 May 2020
Western Lawns & Wish Tower Slopes
Magnificent Motors is established as one of the biggest FREE motoring spectaculars on the south coast. With more than 900 vintage and classic cars, motorbikes, buses, and more expected to display on Eastbourne’s Western Lawns and Wish Tower Slopes with live music entertainment in tow throughout the weekend!
The long established free motoring event regularly attracts interest from over 40 car clubs across Sussex, Kent and further afield, with the likes of Aston Martin Owners Club Area 16, East Sussex BSA Owners Club, East Sussex Stag Owners Club, Ford Consul Capri & Classic Club and many more gracing Eastbourne’s green lawns.
Beachy Head
Eastbourne has a fantastic coastline which inlcudes Beachy Head; Britains highest chalk sea cliff. It is a magnificent sight to behold and makes for a wonderful walk with breathtaking views over Eastbourne and out to sea. Beachy Head recogonised as an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Airbourne
Airbourne – 13-16 August 2020
The award-winning Airbourne celebrates 28 years of airshow excellence in 2020.
Attracting huge crowds, Eastbourne’s International Airshow boasts a 2-mile flying display line along Eastbourne seafront.
2019 saw displays from the Breitling Jet Team, RAF Typhoon, Chinook, The Blades, Wingwalkers, The Tigers, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Ultimate Warbirds, MiG-15 and many more!
Ground displays open 10am – 6pm daily, with flying from lunchtime until approx. 5pm.
Eastbourne Theatres
Eastbourne Theatres are the Congress Theatre, Devonshire Park Theatre and Winter Garden all situated in the heart of Eastbourne’s cultural quarter and just a short walk from the seafront.
The theatres are located 150 meters from the hotel. They have a combined capacity of more than 3,500 seats and play host to a variety of touring productions.
Beachy Head Marathon

The Eastbourne Beachy Head Marathon is one the biggest off-road marathons in the UK. Formerly known as the Seven Sisters Marathon, it is popular for its scenic and challenging route through the South Downs National Park countryside. Great for runners, joggers or walkers looking to get fit.
The 10k run will set off just after the marathon with a route comprising of breathtaking views and challenges, taking a shorter looping route across the Downs to Belle Tout Lighthouse and back.
Beach Life Festival
Beach Life Festival – 11 & 12 July 2020
One of the biggest FREE extreme sports festivals in the UK!
Beach Life kicks off the summer holidays with an adventure filled weekend on Eastbourne seafront at the south coast’s coolest, fastest and most intense FREE sports festival.
Featuring a huge line up of land and water based outdoor pursuits. Get involved and get your adrenaline pumping! Event starts 11am each day.
Eastbourne Bandstand & Pier
Two of Eastbourne’s most iconic structures and always a popular tourist destination.
Eastbourne Pier was completed in 1872 it now offers a wide array of attractions.
Eastbourne Bandstand completed in it current state in 1935 but the original bandstand dates back to 1899. It hosts a variety of shows across the summer as well as the popular Wednesday firework display.
